Most statues of the Archeological Museum, such as nymphs and nude Aphrodites, were collocated in the gardens of well-off citizens and were mostly reused as building materials in more recent buildings. The ones with a religious theme are few, because they were destroyed or recycled in other constructions, especially when Paganism was banned.
